Mine resistant ambush protected vehicles traveling from Iraq arrive at the Redistribution Property Assistance Team yard Dec. 11. After coming to a stop at the RPAT yard, the MRAPs will be downloaded and staged until being repositioned for a future mission. With U.S. forces leaving Iraq, the two nations will now focus on building and strengthening a mutually beneficial partnership. Third Army is shaping the future by meeting the security agreement with Iraq to have all personnel and equipment out of the country before the Dec. 31 deadline.
