VICENZA, Italy -- Italian Carabinieri assigned to South European Task Force and the U.S. Army Garrison Italy Provost Marshal Office have launched a new pilot program consisting of a joint Carabinieri and Military Police patrol initiative. The American and Italian two-vehicle team conducts random visits and creates a presence at Vicenza’s most popular pubs, bars and nightclubs. This pilot, launched in early November, is scheduled to last for several months.
