An aerial photograph shows two green military parachutes descending over a coastal area, each carrying what appears to be a supply bundle or cargo container. The drop zone appears to be near or over shallow coastal waters adjacent to a concrete surface structure, possibly an old airstrip or pier, bordered by tropical vegetation. This appears to be a military airdrop or humanitarian supply delivery operation.

A pair of Low-Cost, Low-Altitude bundles dropped from Santa 48, a Japan Air Self-Defense Force C-130 Hercules out of Komaki Air Base, Japan, gently descend to the atoll of Pingelap, Federated States of Micronesia, during Operation Christmas Drop 2018, Dec. 12, 2018. OCD serves as a training platform for the U.S. Air Force and its partners to better prepare for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief through the use of LCLA airdrops on unsurveyed drop zones throughout the Pacific.
