Representatives from the Air Force and the State of California take part in the KC-46A maintenance facility ceremonial groundbreaking at Travis Air Force Base, California, Dec. 14, 2018. The construction project is the first at Travis for the KC-46A Pegasus, which is projected to arrive in mid-January 2023. The 174,300 square foot facility will encompass three separate bays and is designed for optimal aircraft maintenance capability for the air refueling tanker.
