Attendees of the 2018 Holiday Party at the Birch Hill Ski and Snowboard Area on Dec. 7 had the opportunity to have their photo taken with a reindeer. The annual event is held to celebrate the holidays with a Tree Lighting Ceremony where Col. Sean Fisher, U.S. Army Garrison Alaska commander, along with the help of a service member's child turned on the Christmas tree lights in both the lodge and at the top of the hill.
