Recruits with Charlie Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, conduct stretches before a physical training session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Dec. 11. Recruits conduct physical training on a weekly basis to stay conditioned for the various events they encounter throughout training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited form the Western Recruiting Region are trained aboard MCRD San Diego. Charlie Company is scheduled to graduate March 1.
