Recruits with Charlie Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, sprint together during the physical training session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Dec. 11. The drill instructors motivate the recruits to push themselves to get the most out of their workout. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Charlie Company is scheduled to graduate March 1.
