A large formation of U.S. military personnel — appearing to include both U.S. Marines in tan/olive uniforms and U.S. Navy sailors in white uniforms — are assembled on the deck of a naval vessel at sea. An American flag is visible at what appears to be half-staff on a flagpole at the center-rear of the formation, suggesting a memorial or solemn ceremony. The personnel are facing toward the flag with their backs to the camera.
