A Guam Army National Guardsman raises the bed of a military tactical vehicle to off-load remaining roofing tin at a recycling center in Lower Base, Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Nov. 25, 2018. Initial assessments estimated 374,000 cubic yards of debris were caused by Super Typhoon Yutu. Service members from Joint Region Marianas and other units from within U.S. Indo-Pacific Command assigned to Task Force-West are providing Department of Defense support to the CNMI’s civil and local officials as part of the FEMA-supported Typhoon Yutu recovery efforts.
