The final resting place of Royal Air Force Cpl. Hamilton Wray, a native of Ireland who died during World War II and was buried at the Djibouti New European Cemetery here, is adorned with a poppy flower during a ceremony of Remembrance Sunday, Nov. 13. Wray, who was 27 years old when he died, was one of 13 men being honored. The words, "he gave his young life for king and empire," are inscribed on his gravestone.
