A C-130H Hercules from the 302nd Airlift Wing, Colorado Springs Air Force Reserve, drops water to flush out their Modular Airborne Firefighting System near Abilene Regional Airport, Abilene, Texas, May 5. MAFFS is capable of dispensing 3,000 gallons of water or fire retardant in under 5 seconds. MAFFS operations are preparing to shutdown until they are needed again.
