EL PASO- Sleep sound. Sleep warm. Know and believe the men and women actively serving in the military and for all those who have gone before, it is our honor to serve for those who can not. It is our honor to fight for those who can not. We are happier still to sleep under the vast stars in a brisk 39 degrees with wind raging across an open range so those who can not, or would not, will not have to. Inside the small tents sleep Texas Military service members honoring their oaths and proudly serving, 365-days a year and 24-7. Service members of 3rd Battalion, 133rd Field Artillery Regiment, sleep under the clear starry night sky during a field training exercise on Fort Bliss, Nov.9. The Texas National Guard trains hard to ensure the fighting force remains mission ready and always capable.
