    Staff Sgt. Alfredo Garza, 332nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron member, watches perimeter security monitors at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Oct. 15, 2011. Garza is deployed from Aviano Air Base, Italy, and is from San Juan, Texas. JB Balad has disassembled units, turned in equipment, and shut down services to transition the base to the Iraqi government.
