First Lt. Eric Hansen, 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron combat rescue officer, successfully lands after jumping out of a U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J for a training mission in the Grand Bara Desert, Djibouti, Oct. 21. The purpose of the mission was for the pararescue team to safely parachute into a simulated crash site, locate and treat casualties, and coordinate evacuation while maintaining security.
