First Lt. Eric Hansen, 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron combat rescue officer, detaches his parachute assembly after successfully jumping out of a U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J for a training mission in the Grand Bara Desert, Djibouti, Oct. 21. The purpose of the mission was for the pararescue team to safely parachute into the simulated crash site, locate and treat casualties, and coordinate evacuation for the casualties while maintaining security.
