First Lt. Michelle Miller, an administrative officer with Joint Logistics Task Force 6 and native of Gatlinburg, Tenn., approaches the finish line of the 5K Marine Corps birthday run Nov. 10. Miller was the first female to cross the finish line. The Marine Corps is celebrating its 236th birthday. This 236th birthday commemorates the continuous efforts by the Marine Corps to provide support to Third Army’s mission abroad and stateside. Through 5K run/walk events Third Army is ensuring that service members continue to be ready tonight and shape the future.
