Staff Sgt. Long Tran, a biomedical and container management non-commissioned officer with the 3rd Medical Deployment Support Command and native of Virginia Beach, Va., approaches the finish line of the 5K Marine Corps birthday run Nov. 10. Tran had the fastest time in the 5K, just over 17 minutes. The Marine Corps celebrated its 236th birthday, commemorating the continuous efforts by the Marine. Through 5K run/walk events, Third Army is ensuring that servicemembers continue to be ready tonight and shape the future.
