U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. William Clarkson (right), an Auburn, Calif., native and vehicle operator assigned to the 70th Medium Truck Detachment, eats a turkey sandwich before a mission Oct. 23, 2011, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Clarkson and Olson drove all night in a convoy to get to Forward Operating Base Warrior before loading the trucks and are scheduled to depart later in the evening. The convoy of 43 vehicles and 60 passengers traveled more than 1,100 miles through Iraq.
