Rantoul, Ill., native Cpl. Josh McCormick, a communications Marine with 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, spends his days in Afghanistan standing guard on base or driving in one of approximately 150 convoys he’s completed in the last six months. McCormick is looking forward to returning home to spend time with his three-year old daughter.
