Rantoul, Ill., native Cpl. Josh McCormick, a communications Marine with 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, cleans the window of his Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle before leaving with a recent convoy. He was a natural sprinter throughout his time at Rantoul Township High School. He graduated in 2008 after two of his best friends were in a tragic car accident, which forever changed his life and ultimately led him to his decision to enlist into the United States Marine Corps.
