A U.S. Marine Jungle Warfare Training Center instructor inspects a Marine’s rope harness to ensure the harness is tied properly during a communications exercise at the Jungle Warfare Training Center in Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 19, 2018. Harnesses are used during rappelling as a form of protective equipment and reduce the risk of injury. Alpha Company, 7th Communication Battalion conducted the communications exercise to test their capabilities in providing communication services in field environments as well as train in jungle warfare tactics.
