Badgett, a native of Roanoke, Texas, is a forward observer with 1st Brigade, 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, III MEF. During this training event, opposing forces composed of elements from the New Zealand Army and 5th ANGLICO wielded the Carl Gustaf M3, an 84 millimeter man-portable reusable anti-tank recoilless rifle capable of firing approximately six rockets per minute.
