Timothy Deaton, a native of Evarts, Ky., briefs the Soldiers of Alpha Company, 2nd Platoon, 4th Convoy Escort Team, 1st Battalion, 149th Infantry Regiment, 77th Sustainment Brigade, 310th Expeditionary Sustainment Command prior to going on a convoy escort mission. The soldiers spent October 1-5 traveling across northern Iraq in one of their last major missions escorting convoys before heading south to Kuwait.
