Soldiers and Airmen assigned to the Hawaii National Guard’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive Materials, Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) make last minute mission preparations as they ready to provide support for Hurricane Olivia in Kahului, Hawaii on September 11, 2018. With Hurricane Olivia expected to produce 15-20 inches of rain on the Island of Maui, local officials requested the Hawaii National Guard pre-deploy a CERFP team with swift water rescue capabilities to an area near Hana, Hawaii.
