BANGOR, Wash. (Aug. 28, 2018) Gen. John E. Hyten, commander of U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), delivers remarks during the 2017 Omaha Submarine Ballistic Missile Trophy presentation which was awarded to the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Alabama (SSBN 731). The Omaha Trophy, sponsored by Omaha's Strategic Command Consultation Committee, is awarded annually to four outstanding units that represent USSTRATCOM's mission areas, their role in global operations and USSTRATCOM's continued emphasis on strategic deterrence.
