An amphibious assault vehicle with 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion navigates through the Pacific Ocean just off the coast of Camp Pendleton as part of a beach landing during Exercise Dawn Blitz, Sept. 30. During the exercise, 3rd AABn landed on Gold Beach as part of a series of exercises this year focusing on Marine Expeditionary Brigade level proficiency and readiness.
