    I Marine Expeditionary Force

    Cpl. David M. Lindahl a motor transport mechanic with 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, guides Marines driving a Humvee to the flight deck of the USS Rushmore during Exercise Dawn Blitz off the coast of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Sept. 28. The Marines and sailors conducting Dawn Blitz serve with 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade, an active unit reinforced with infantry, aviation support and logistics support, ready to respond to combat zones or for humanitarian aide worldwide.
