Sgt. Tinkorang’s mother, three uncles, and sister all live in Ghana. Tinkorang supported United Accord 2018 by translating for Akan-speaking Ghanaian Soldiers. He grew up in Akosombo, Ghana, about an hour from Accra where U.S. Army Africa and the Ghana Armed Forces co-hosted United Accord 2018. (U.S. Army photo by Capt. Daniel Parker)
