    14th Public Affairs Detachment

Sgt. David Tinkorang, a culinary specialist assigned to Company D., 141st Military Intelligence Battalion, 300th Military Intelligence Brigade (Linguist), admires a photo of his mother, Joanna Tinkorang. Sgt. Tinkorang last saw his mother five years ago but reconnected with her at United Accord 2018. Tinkorang supported United Accord, July 16-31, 2018, by translating for Akan-speaking Ghanaian Soldiers and French-speaking service members from other African nations. He grew up in Akosombo, Ghana, about an hour from Accra, Ghana, where U.S. Army Africa and the Ghana Armed Forces co-hosted United Accord 2018. (U.S. Army photo by Capt. Daniel Parker)
