An Aviation Boastwain’s Mate (handling) signals to a MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopters assigned to the Wild Cards of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23 upon arrival at Naval Air Station North Island after a 5-month deployment with USNS Mercy (T-AH-19). Mercy is operated by Military Sealift Command and provides emergency, on-site care for U.S. combatant forces deployed in war or other operations.
