    24th Marine Expeditionary Unit

    U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Onvorah Onwemize, a hospital corpsman with Headquarters & Service Company 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division utilizes his rifle combat optic to scan the area for improvised explosive devices (IED)during a training exercise aboard Fort Pickett, Va., Sept. 12, 20111. Onwemize along with the Marines of H&S Company participated in the Counter IED Integration Cell exercise to prepare for an upcoming deployment. More than 900 Marines and Sailors will take part in the Deployment for Training exercise at Fort Pickett, Sept. 6-23.
