The Hawaii National Guard is hosting the 2018 Pacific Rim: (CRE) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Response, Enterprise Wargame at its Joint Force Headquarters. Participating in the exercise are leadership from National Guard CBRN units from all ten Federal Emergency Management Agency regions along with U.S. Pacific Command, U.S. Army Pacific, Coast Guard, Department of Energy, Federal Bureau Investigation, Northern Command, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. The goal of the five-day wargame is to evaluate the National Guard’s capability to move CRE assets from all over the country to a location in Alaska, Hawaii or Guam with-in 96 hours in the event of a large scale CBRN disaster.
