Jessica Pivetta, of Detroit, an Outback employee and volunteer for Outback's annual Operation Feeding Freedom, writes a message of thanks on one of the banners she and others brought to Afghanistan as part of the tour at Forward Operating Base Spin Boldak, Afghanistan Sept 8. In its ninth year, OFF's purpose is to entertain and feed service members deployed overseas. This year alone, more than $500,000 of food was donated to soldiers deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
