    Petty Officer 1st Class Michael Molnar works on improving his core strength during a physical therapy session. Molnar, a maritime law enforcement specialist assigned to the Portsmouth, Va., based Coast Guard Cutter Forward, was diagnosed with Guillain- Barr«e Syndrome, an inflammatory disorder of the peripheral nerves that occurs when the body's immune system attacks the nervous system. He regained his mobility and is currently on convalescent leave while he continues his recovery.
