The Single Marine Program rowing team competes during the 6th annual DragonBoat Beaufort charity race June 23 at Waterfront Park in downtown Beaufort. The team was comprised of Marines and Sailors from the Tri-command. This was the second year SMP put together a team for the event. Both local and traveling teams competed in the volunteer organized event that strives to create a strong sense of wellness through competition, camaraderie and also raises money for local cancer patients, survivors, and families. The SMP team received the fastest local time for the second year in a row.
