Members of the 127th Wing Fire Department host a Bar-B-Que lunch and tour of STARBASE One at Selfridge Air National Guard Base for Wigs for Kids; a non-profit hair donation organization that has been serving children suffering from hair loss since 1981. The children were able to enjoy hands on experience with the Fire Department equipment and tour STARBASE One a Department of Defense community outreach program that offers hands-on curriculum that emphasizes the application of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
