PANAMA CITY, Florida - Aviation Support Equipment Technician 1st Class (AW/SW) Edwin R. Rodriguez receives his fifth Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in a ceremony June 15, 2018 from Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division Commanding Officer Capt. Aaron Peters, USN. Rodriguez was recognized for serving as the command’s quality assurance leading petty officer for almost three years where he managed seven Sailors, provided oversight to 25 contractors, and 3,719 maintenance actions that contributed to 530 mishap-free flight hours in support of airborne mine countermeasure research, development, testing and evaluation.
