U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, civil engineer, Amanda Morelos, volunteered to help mentor the “Imagine Tomorrow” afterschool program at Walla Walla High School, Walla Walla, Wa. The young women that participated in the program presented their projects to family members, Wa-Hi faculty and mentors like Amanda. The Corps is engaged in STEM outreach to help plant the seed at home in the communities that we serve and connect them to real-world careers in STEM.
