U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, civil engineer, Amanda Morelos, volunteered to help mentor the “Imagine Tomorrow” afterschool program at Walla Walla High School, Walla Walla, Wa. Amanda, (red blouse) worked with students like Daisy Abundis, on smaller projects to help with their critical thinking skills. The Corps is engaged in STEM outreach to help plant the seed at home in the communities that we serve and connect them to real-world careers in STEM.
