A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III from the 305th Air Mobility Wing taxis on the flightline during the 2018 Marine Aircraft Group 49 Combined Arms Exercise on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., June 12, 2018. The C-17 was prepared to be loaded with two Marine helicopters. The MCAX is a large-scale exercise that is normally taken place on the West Coast of the U.S. but was moved this year to the East Coast for the first time ever in an effort to develop it into a more joint operation.
