Reel, an anesthesiologist from the 959th Medical Operations Squadron at the San Antonio Military Medical Center at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas, prepares equipment to transport children and their guardians from Guatemala to Galveston, Texas, for medical treatment at Shriners Hospital for Children. The aeromedical evacuation mission was conducted at the direction of U.S. Southern Command to assist the government of Guatemala following the recent eruption of Fuego Volcano.
