RAF MILDENHALL, England— Staff Sgt. Thomas Bourke, a crew chief assigned to the 127th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., prepares to marshall out an A-10 Thunderbolt II on June 2, 2018. Pilots with the 107th Fighter Squadron, also based out of Selfridge, and their maintainers traveled to Riga, Latvia in advance of Saber Strike 18. With approximately 18,000 participants from 19 countries, Saber Strike is a U.S. Army Europe-led exercise designed to enhance readiness and interoperability among allies and regional partners in the Baltic States.
