Three workers perform critical pump maintenance at the Raqqah Main Water Station in southern Raqqah, Syria, May 12, 2018. The water station went from being inoperable, to having 37 out of the original 40 pumps providing water to approximately 180,000 people in and around Raqqah city in a span of eight months. Water is collected, treated and pumped through pipes below the river providing up to 70 percent of Raqqah city with access to water. The Raqqah Civil Council works with the Coalition to restore critical infrastructure throughout the city and surrounding areas as the community returns to normalcy. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
