MCAS FUTENMA, OKINAWA, Japan – Lance Cpl. Elijah Davis looks at one of the monitors of a weather local substation May 15 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. The local substation is used to analyze weather conditions within a determined area. Meteorology and oceanology Marines use it to help determine the weather conditions at a given time.
