U.S. Navy Sailors attached to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, and Philippine Navy sailors with UCT 1st Naval Waterfront Construction Battalion perform dive operations during Exercise Balikatan at Naval Base Camilo Osias, Santa Ana, Cagayan, Philippines May 11, 2018. UCT 2 specializes in the construction, inspection, maintenance, and repair of underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet. Exercise Balikatan, in its 34th iteration, is an annual U.S.-Philippine military training exercise focused on a variety of missions, including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, counterterrorism, and other combined military operations held from May 7 to May 18.
