U.S. Navy Sailors attached to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, and Philippine Navy sailors with UCT 1st Naval Waterfront Construction Battalion launch a 15-foot inflatable boat during dive operations during Exercise Balikatan at Naval Base Camilo Osias, Santa Ana, Cagayan, Philippines May 11, 2018. UCT 2 specializes in the construction, inspection, maintenance, and repair of underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet. Exercise Balikatan, in its 34th iteration, is an annual U.S.-Philippine military training exercise focused on a variety of missions, including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, counterterrorism, and other combined military operations held from May 7 to May 18.
