Reed, from Lewisville, Texas, fires a shot line with a modified MK-14 rifle from the bridge wing of San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23) to Henry J. Kaiser-class fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO 187) during a replenishment-at-sea. Anchorage is underway-conducting Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) exercise (ARGMEUEX). ARGMEUEX enhances joint integration, lethality and collective capabilities of the Navy-Marine Corps team through joint planning and execution of challenging and realistic training scenarios.
