Gen. Gustave F. Perna, commanding general, U.S. Army Materiel Command, and Maj. Gen. Paul C. Hurley Jr., commanding general, U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM), gathered with retired general officers who had served in the sustainment community to brief them on current and future initiatives May 2 at the Army Logistics University, Fort Lee, Virginia. CASCOM hosted Sustainment Week May 1-3 to discuss with the sustainment community the future of Army logistics with the recognition that the operational environment has changed.
