Mr. Leo Soetosenojo, technical schools director (left); John R. Nay, U.S. ambassador (center); and Mr. Ravin Jiawan, Wanica District commissioner, participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony July 29, 2011, at the newly opened Lelydorp school as part of New Horizons 2011. The school is one of several projects being worked on by U.S. military personnel during the New Horizons 2011 exercise. New Horizons is a cooperative humanitarian mission between the Suriname government and the United States Southern Command to improve the quality of life for the people of Suriname.
