Australian Defence Force Bombardier Recce Osborne and Gunner Tim Oke, both with 1st Regiment Joint Terminal Attack Controllers of Brisbane, field test and update software on their thermal imager with built-in range finder at Camp Rocky in Rockhampton. The kit will be used while in a forward observation position at Shoalwater Bay Training Area during Talisman Sabre 2011. TS11 is an exercise designed to train U.S. and Australian forces to plan and conduct Combined Task Force operations to improve combat readiness and interoperability on a variety of missions from conventional conflict to peacekeeping and humanitarian assistance efforts.
